Ariadna Takanashi - Art Review
Disclaimer: Art serves as a mirror of human experience, and reviewing it can be an intensely personal endeavor. Whether you’re critiquing a painting, sculpture, or performance, your insights can be invaluable.
Ariadna Takanashi on Twitter (X) reached out for honest feedback on their projects. Here are my thoughts:
Mason: This character looks like a typical AI-generated boy, styled in a hoodie or jacket with a common anime aesthetic.
Mackenzie: This tachi-e has a more original look, embodying a classic anime little sister vibe that feels refreshing.
I assume this is a masculine version of Charlie Morningstar, reminiscent of the heyday of DeviantArt when Cuphead-inspired art was all the rage.
Gamer Logo: The design feels too cluttered. The background texture should be toned down, and the text in the font ring should contour more closely to the ring's shape, even if it makes the font slightly harder to read.
Purple Dragon: This piece gives off strong AI-generated vibes, yet it’s undeniably a cute, Spyro-inspired dragon.
I found this artwork in less than five seconds using a reverse image search on an Instagram account called Un.Joyful.Draws.
Important Note: Please refrain from submitting art that belongs to other creators.
Overall, the art submitted for review appeared to be more AI-generated than original. Additionally, using art from other creators undermines the authenticity of any claims to originality.
